An agency that lost a client and built the fix
Dotify didn't start from a market idea. It started from a problem we had ourselves.
How it happened
We are EnneStudio, a web agency based in Padua, Italy. We build websites and look after them over time: domains, hosting, certificates, maintenance. The work nobody sees but that keeps everything else standing.
For years we managed client deadlines on spreadsheets. One column for the client, one for the service, one for the date. It worked: as long as there were few clients and you could count the deadlines on one hand.
Then clients became dozens, each with multiple services renewing in different months. The spreadsheet stopped being a tool and became a job of its own.
Until we lost one too many. A forgotten renewal, a site offline, a client walking away. Not through incompetence: because of a row in a spreadsheet that nobody looked at in time.
We looked for a tool built for our kind of work. We found accounting software, oversized CRMs, project management suites. Nothing built for people who manage recurring renewals on behalf of clients.
So we built it. Today Dotify runs every day on our own real clients, before it runs on yours.
What this means for you
A product built by the people who use it has concrete consequences.
No filler features
Every feature came from a problem we actually had. If we didn't need it, we didn't build it.
Support that knows the job
When you contact support you're not talking to a call centre: you're talking to people managing the same deadlines you are.
Our own data is in there
Security isn't a marketing bullet: our own clients are in the system too.
Who's behind this, concretely
Dotify is a product by EnneStudio. We're not a startup with investors to satisfy: we're an agency that built a tool for itself and decided to make it available to people doing the same job.
